Villages and towns in Istria
The Village of Bratulići is very well known by its peace and quiet, situated 20 km from Pula, far away from traffic and noise. It is surrounded by untouched nature which gives you the perfect opportunity to explore and enjoy the mother nature away from the busy streets of cities and, in the same time, it is only 7 km from the sea. You’ll find a mild microclimate and lots of sunny hours every day even in the winter period. If you want to enjoy some of local specialties, only 2 minutes from our house is a nice restaurant where our guests can try original Istrian meals, and about 1 km further are two more excellent restaurants. Near by you can find many vineyards and taste some of best award winning vines Croatia has to offer. Village does not have a grocery store, however two surrounding villages has little supply stores which are 5 minutes drive from our villa. We also offer to manage supplies that you need on the first day of your arrival of your choice.
You have a possibility to ride a horse, take a bicycle tour or a diving lesson, you can go sea surfing, play volleyball or even go truffle hunting. In Istria is very popular hunting tourism seasoning at winter and spring.
If you are more of a history passionate, you can go and look for church St. Mary of Health which was built 250 years ago, various remains of castles and forts, and even traces of buildings left from Roman Empire. Croatia has a very rich and colorful history, and it would be our pleasure to present to you a small peace of it.
